Plans have been filed for a new 156,500-square-foot data center in far north Fort Worth, located within the Alliance corridor of southern Denton County. The facility, named Colovore Alliance, is expected to be constructed along Heritage Parkway. The site is situated near Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport, south of Highway 114 and the Tanger Outlets, adjacent to Interstate 35W.
According to state filings, the single-story building will feature an administration area and four data halls, each measuring approximately 21,000 square feet. The project carries an estimated cost of $430 million. Construction is scheduled to start in December, with completion targeted for December 2028.
Baxtel, a data center analytics firm, indicates that the facility will be largely built out in 2027, with expansion work continuing into 2028.
Colovore specializes in liquid-cooled artificial intelligence infrastructure, allowing companies to house servers and IT hardware. The company states that the design is fully liquid-cooled and high-density, which reduces water consumption. The planned facility in north Fort Worth is expected to consume 32 megawatts of power. HBOWA New Energy notes that one megawatt can power between 500 and 1,000 homes at any given moment.
