Denton sets October 21 hearing on Teasley Lane development standards

Denton’s Planning and Zoning Commission will hold an October 21 public hearing on a request to change development standards for approximately 9.6 acres along Teasley Lane, according to a city notice posted September 30.

Denton West Joint Venture seeks an amendment to the existing Planned Development Overlay–Suburban Corridor district. The property lies west of Teasley Lane, also designated FM 2181, between Hunter’s Creek Road and Ryan Road. The case number is PDA26-0004.

The in-person hearing begins at 6:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers at City Hall, 215 E. McKinney Street. The commission will consider a recommendation to City Council; the council makes the final decision.

The notice does not identify the individual standards proposed for change. Staff analysis and exhibits are scheduled to accompany the agenda available October 16.
