The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to extensions that could pay Ryan Flournoy and Brevyn Spann-Ford a combined $24 million. Both contracts extend beyond the 2026 season, marking an earlier commitment than the team has typically made with developing players.
Flournoy’s one-year extension could be worth $6 million and keeps him signed through 2027. He had 40 catches, 475 yards and four touchdowns in 2025, and the report said he is expected to become Dallas’ established No. 3 receiver. His size and athletic ability allow him to play all three receiver spots in the Cowboys’ 11-personnel formations.
The agreement could also help maintain continuity among the top receivers if George Pickens leaves after the current season.
Spann-Ford received a three-year contract with a maximum value of $18 million, including $12.075 million guaranteed. He will remain under contract through 2029. An undrafted free agent in 2024, Spann-Ford competed with Luke Schoonmaker for snaps behind Jake Ferguson last season.
The Cowboys previously waited for players to establish themselves before extending them, including in deals involving Terence Steele, Jaylon Smith, Dak Prescott, Trevon Diggs and DaRon Bland.
