Nico Collins was unavailable for the Texans’ Wednesday practice because of a hamstring injury, one of five players who missed the session with injuries. Offensive tackle Trent Brown was out with knee and wrist issues, while defensive end Jadeveon Clowney had a knee injury.

Linebacker Jake Hummel and offensive guard Ed Ingram were sidelined with groin injuries. Tight end Dalton Schultz also did not practice, but his absence was listed as rest-related. Collins injured his hamstring during practice last week and missed Houston’s Week 2 loss to the Bengals. No further details were provided about the other injuries.

Three defensive players were limited. Will Anderson Jr. was resting, while Logan Hall and M.J. Stewart were limited by knee injuries. Safety Reed Blankenship and linebacker Wade Woodaz, who have thumb injuries, participated fully.
