Nico Collins and Ed Ingram could return to the Houston Texans’ lineup Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys after sitting out the past two games. Coach DeMeco Ryans said both players have a chance to play in the Week 4 game.
Collins, a Pro Bowl wide receiver and three-time 1,000-yard receiver, has been absent as Houston has had difficulty producing on the outside. Dalton Schultz has been the main exception. Xavier Hutchinson led the team during the two-game span with nine receptions totaling 120 yards. In an earlier game against Buffalo, Collins had seven receptions, 75 yards and a touchdown.
Ingram’s absence has moved Wyatt Teller into the starting role at right guard. Houston has totaled 130 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown over its last two games. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, sidelined for two games with a knee injury, is still listed as week-to-week.
The Texans had five sacks and caused two fumbles in their previous outing despite missing players on the edge. The game is set for noon at Reliant Stadium. Sports.yahoo.com reported the update Sept. 28, 2026.
