Jake Hummel has been placed on injured reserve by the Texans following a groin injury sustained in the team’s Week 1 loss to the Bills. The move keeps the linebacker from returning to the active roster for at least four games.
Hummel has not participated in practice since the injury. During his absence, Jake Hansen is expected to remain in the starting lineup alongside Azeez Al-Shaair and Aiden Fisher.
