The Dallas Cowboys will be without four players against the Baltimore Ravens in Rio de Janeiro, with safety P.J. Locke moving to injured reserve because of a foot injury sustained against Washington. The move keeps Locke out for at least four additional weeks. Malik Hooker is also unavailable while recovering from a fractured forearm.
Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and cornerback Cobie Durant were ruled out with hamstring injuries. Durant, a starter, was hurt during Dallas’ Week 2 win over Washington. Linebackers Jaishawn Barham and Dee Winters also sustained injuries in that game but finished it.
Barron now has a place on Dallas’ 53-player roster after previously taking part through a temporary practice-squad elevation. His addition provides depth with Overshown sidelined. The team also brought cornerback Reddy Steward up from the practice squad for the Ravens matchup.
Steward handled substantial defensive work for Dallas in 2025, primarily as a nickel cornerback and at times as a safety. His versatility gives Dallas another secondary option alongside safeties Jalen Thompson, Caleb Downs, Markquese Bell and Alijah Clark.
