Langford Delivers the Blow
Bryce Miller anchored the Texas Rangers' offensive surge with a three-run homer in the second inning, setting the tone for a 5-3 victory over the Sacramento Athletics at Sutter Health Park. The away team took an early 3-0 lead before the hosts managed to chip away at the deficit, but Miller's drive to left field proved decisive in the early frames.
The Rangers ultimately overcame a late rally attempt to secure the win, improving their season record to 61-63 while the Athletics fell to 48-75.
