Back Home, Back to Goals: Musa Powers FC Dallas to a 4-3 Win

Frisco waited nearly four months for FC Dallas to come home. The return was anything but quiet.

FC Dallas defeated Sporting Kansas City 4-3 at Toyota Stadium on Saturday, September 5, with Petar Musa scoring twice to reach 18 league goals and tie the club's single-season record. His next league goal would establish a new club mark. FC Dallas match report

Logan Farrington opened the scoring in the 28th minute, finishing a move assisted by Musa. Kaick also scored, giving the home crowd three different Dallas scorers to celebrate.

The occasion extended beyond the scoreboard. Toyota Stadium's new East Side opened for the match, welcoming supporters back after a 12-game road stretch that took the team more than 15,000 miles across three countries.

Musa's record chase now gives Frisco fans another storyline to follow. But the next stop is away: Dallas visits Minnesota United on Wednesday, September 9, at 7:30 p.m. Central.
