Nashville Finishes Strong

Hany Mukhtar capped Nashville SC’s five-goal performance with a stoppage-time strike, sealing a 4-1 victory over Austin FC on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at Q2 Stadium. Nashville was the visiting team, while Austin played at home.

The result moved Nashville SC to 19-6-3 and left Austin FC at 7-10-11.

Nashville Takes Control

Nashville opened the scoring in the 30th minute when Reed Baker-Whiting found the net. The visitors carried that advantage into the second half before Elias Saad added a goal in the 67th minute, making it 2-0.

Austin answered in the 76th minute. Brandon Vázquez scored for Austin FC, cutting Nashville’s lead to 2-1 and accounting for the home team’s lone goal of the match.

Late Goals Settle It

Nashville restored its two-goal cushion in the 88th minute, when Shak Mohammed scored to make it 3-1. Mukhtar then scored in the 90th minute plus one minute, giving Nashville SC its fourth goal and completing the final score.

The match featured exactly five goals: four for Nashville SC and one for Austin FC. Nashville’s four goals came from Baker-Whiting, Saad, Mohammed and Mukhtar, while Vázquez scored Austin’s goal.
