Denton’s latest street-closure report lists two lane closures scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 12, for utility work on South Carroll Boulevard and Fishtrap Road.

On South Carroll Boulevard, the affected section runs from Pearl Street to West Mulberry Street. The listed closure period ends Nov. 9. Driver Pipeline is relocating a gas main ahead of a city capital project.

On Fishtrap Road, the affected stretch runs from 5501 Fishtrap Road, identified as Fishtrap Business Center, to Greenleaf Circle. Fink Construction is extending a waterline for Riviera Mobile Home Park. That closure is scheduled through Dec. 7.

Both entries are classified as lane closures, rather than full-road closures. The report does not identify which lanes will be affected or list daily work hours.

The schedules appear in the Oct. 9 Friday staff report, in the street-closure table for Oct. 12–18. They indicate planned work and do not confirm that either closure has begun. Drivers should follow posted traffic controls through each work area.
