DeMarvion Overshown is expected to miss one to two weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in the Dallas Cowboys’ loss to the New York Giants last Sunday. Coach Brian Schottenheimer gave that estimate after the 26-year-old starting inside linebacker was hurt.

CBS Sports reported that Overshown will not play when Dallas faces the Washington Commanders on Sunday. The absence comes as the Cowboys manage the injury during his projected recovery period.

Overshown’s status could extend beyond the Commanders game. He may also be unavailable for Dallas’ Week 3 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens if the hamstring injury prevents him from returning to practice. CBS Sports reported that no additional details about his recovery were provided.
