Roberts powers Missouri

Jamal Roberts ran for 222 yards and two touchdowns on 34 carries, helping Missouri defeat Texas A&M 27-6 on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Missouri. Roberts scored on a 2-yard run in the third quarter and a 54-yard run in the fourth, providing Missouri’s final two touchdowns.

Austin Simmons completed 14 of 28 passes for 147 yards, one touchdown and one interception for Missouri. Cayden Lee caught seven passes for 94 yards and a touchdown, connecting with Simmons on a 32-yard scoring play in the second quarter. Blake Craig made both of his field-goal attempts, from 50 and 51 yards, and added the extra points on Missouri’s three touchdowns.

Missouri takes control

Texas A&M opened the scoring when David Olano made a 53-yard field goal in the first quarter. Missouri answered in the second quarter with Lee’s touchdown reception, then extended its lead to 10-3 when Craig made a 50-yard field goal.

Missouri added 10 points in the third quarter. Craig’s 51-yard field goal made it 13-3, and Roberts’ 2-yard touchdown run pushed the advantage to 20-3. Olano made a 27-yard field goal for Texas A&M in the fourth quarter before Roberts’ 54-yard touchdown run completed Missouri’s scoring.

Quarter-by-quarter

Texas A&M held a 3-0 edge after the first quarter, but Missouri led 10-0 in the second quarter to take a 10-3 halftime advantage. Missouri added 10 points to Texas A&M’s 0 in the third quarter, and the Tigers scored seven points while the Aggies scored three in the fourth.

The quarter scores were Texas A&M 3-0-0-3 and Missouri 0-10-10-7.

Marcel Reed completed 19 of 39 passes for 187 yards and two interceptions for Texas A&M. KJ Edwards carried six times for 20 yards, and TK Norman had three receptions for 55 yards.

Records

Missouri improved to 5-1 after the victory. Texas A&M fell to 3-3. Missouri was the home team, and attendance at Memorial Stadium was 63,609.
