North Texas’ women’s swimming and diving team finished its New Mexico trip with a 126–117 victory over the Lobos on Saturday, Oct. 10, in Albuquerque.
The result split the weekend’s dual meets for the Denton program, which lost 133–110 at New Mexico State in Las Cruces on Friday.
Against New Mexico, the Mean Green won the 100 backstroke and the 200 freestyle and 200 medley relays, according to UNT’s meet recap. North Texas also won both diving events, including an NCAA Zone qualifying performance on the 1-meter board.
